Our Vision

Pearl River Outreach desperately wants to improve the quality of care that is provided to the children living in China's Social Welfare Institutes and orphanages through proper medical education and training. As part of our services, we will help orphanages set up, fund, and run infant nurturing and foster care programs. We will train the caretakers and foster parents in these programs on basic infant and child growth and development, safety, CPR, basic first-aid, and the care of "special needs" children. It is our conviction that this knowledge will enable the staff and foster parents to give the orphans a healthier start in life. Through continued annual training and education, Pearl River Outreach hopes to increase the standard of care that China's orphans receive.
