Our Team

JULIE HUMBERT, R.N.

Obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from the Central Ohio Technical College in 1991. Julie is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Procedures (NRP) as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Julie has developed material and conducted specialized training focused on child growth and development, and has helped to establish nurturing programs in several of China's Social Welfare Institutes. Julie continues to work at her local hospital as a Registered Nurse in the maternal/newborn unit where she has been employed for over 14 years.

TINA JI, LLM

JD, Peking University; LLM, University of Virginia School of Law, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. She has worked in the adoption field since 1992, first with Children's Hope International in St. Louis, and for the past 10 years with Families Thru International Adoption (FTIA). Ms. Ji also developed humanitarian programs in China. In 2001 she started a foster care program in China which currently trains foster parents to care for over 100 children in non-institutional settings. She has also led efforts to help many orphanages improve conditions for the children, including provision of medical care. She is active with Joint Council on International Children's Services and has also been substantially involved in the Hague Treaty and compliance issues for U.S. agencies.

CHRISTINA ROSS, R.N., B.S.N.

Obtained her B.S.N. from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 1997. Christina has developed material and conducted specialized training focused on child growth and development, and has helped to establish foster care and nurturing programs in many of China's Social Welfare Institute's. Christina currently works as a Registered Nurse with special needs children in her community and has done so for the past 11 years.

STACY L. SCUDDER, D.O.

Earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. Dr. Scudder did both her internship and residency at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio with a specialty in pediatrics. Including her residency, Dr. Scudder has worked in pediatric and family osteopathic medicine for 9 years.
